WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because they have the best academics and athletics I can possibly get.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means to balance academics, athletics, and social life.

WHAT MAKES YOU AN INTERESTING STUDENT-ATHLETE? I believe I am the first offensive lineman to throw javelin.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to be a firefighter or police officer, and Linfield helps me by giving me the tools and teaching me the hard work to be able to get those jobs.

WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have taken at Linfield was geography of wine. This is because we learned all things wine including where its made/ how its made/ how it taste/ what it pairs with and many more. I was eager to go to class every day and loved every second of it.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My greatest inspiration in my life has to be my dad. from constantly being a leader not only with his words but also with his actions. he shows how to be a man every day and there is nothing you can't accomplish without 100% effort. He showed me the sports I love today and inspires me in many ways.

WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY TIME…Outdoors hiking, being on the lake/river and hanging out with friends and family.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… Hard work and dedication leads to success. As well as the harder you work the luckier you get.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD ATHLETIC CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield career is being able to spend times with my closest friends and seeing the growth we’ve all been through.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... As a team we should strive to get closer every day and to constantly improve through hard work. My individual goal is to be a national champion in the javelin.
