PERSONAL INFORMATION 
Majoring in finance. 
Son of Brooke and Jesse Travis. 
WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because of the history of both academic and athletic success, as well as the great atmosphere on campus. 

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? I am very excited and fortunate to be able to continue my baseball career at Linfield while studying for my future career. 

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I want to play baseball for as long as I can, but I am interested in a career involving business or computer science. Linfield will help me achieve both by allowing me to continue playing baseball and helping set my life up for when baseball eventually comes to an end. 

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? My favorite class was Accounting 1 with Professor Gribbins. I like math and numbers and the class was full of my teammates. 

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My dad has been the greatest inspiration in my life. He’s the one who introduced me to baseball, and we share a passion for the sport. Whether it’s baseball, school or anything else, he has always pushed me to work hard and be the best player and person I can be. 

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... Rent is due every day. This has been the mantra for Linfield baseball under Coach Spencer. It means we need to work hard every day to get to where we want to be. 

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... My goal is to help the team win whenever I’m on the mound. As a team, our goal is to win the conference and make the tournament.
