WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because Linfield has great academics and a great swimming program, and the school covered the whole scope for me and I am really excited to continue my education here.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means I can continue my love for swimming while I work hard to gain a degree.

WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY?
The Study of Law was a really fun class it helped solidify my major decision.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE?
My mom has worked so hard to take care of my brother and I. Her determination and work ethic motivates me to be a better person.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… Try your best to not have negative thoughts in your head. Trying to do a sport while covid limited our competitions and practices was tough. Telling myself the situation sucked didn't change anything and just brought me down.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… to break the school record in the mile. As a team we can hopefully have a good majority score at conference while having a good time.

WHAT'S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU'VE TAKEN AND WHY? In my freshman year, I took The Study of Law. I wasn't wholly set on majoring in Law, Rights, and Justice at that point but by the end of the term, I felt comfortable and enjoyed the subject to feel confident choosing my major. I'm passionate about the subject and I had a great time with the professor. I would recommend taking this class if you have any interest in politics.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... My goals as an individual and for the group are the same. I hope we can all improve in our races at conference and uplift each other to do so. No matter what the outcome of our races are we can all band together to encourage the team.Â
