Named second-team all-Three Rivers League at linebacker as a senior in 2016. 
Voted football team captain of the Tigers in 2016. 
Led the Tigers with 61 total tackles (31 solo) and 9.5 sacks. 
Lettered twice in football and track at Tigard High School.

Majoring in sport management. 
Son of Patrick and Dana Lyons. 
 
WHY LINFIELD? I ?love the coaches here at Linfield and I want to continue to win. I wanted to continue my football career while also getting a good education at a place that was close to home.  
 
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete at Linfield means that I can represent my school on and off the field and compete at my highest level. 
 
WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? I want to remain in the sports field and continue to be a part of student-athletes lives on the business side of sports. I might potentially go to graduate school as well.  
 
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS YOU HAVE TAKEN AT LINFIELD? The best class I have taken at Linfield was Acting, because I got to try something I have never done before. I got out of my comfort zone and the professor was great. 
 
WHEN NOT COMPETING IN SPORTS OR STUDYING FOR SCHOOL, I LIKE TO SPEND MY TIME…Hanging out with friends and watching the NBA. 
 
THE GREATEST LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN…Be a star in your role. 
 
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR LINFIELD ATHLETIC CAREER THUS FAR? The highlight of my Linfield career thus far was traveling to Chapman for the first game of the season during my freshman year and travelling to Rowan in 2019, to play in front of more than 30 family members and friends.
