WHY LINFIELD? I chose Linfield because I was blessed with an opportunity to pursue a world-class education while following my dream of playing college baseball.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STUDENT-ATHLETE AT LINFIELD? Being a student-athlete means being a role model and a leader on campus. It also means having a responsibility to hold yourself to the highest standards and representing your program and school with pride and honor.

WHAT’S THE BEST CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AT LINFIELD AND WHY? The best class I have taken at Linfield would be The Economics of College Sports. I really enjoyed what this class taught me as I learned the ins and outs of a collegiate athletic department from an economic perspective. This class taught me the costs involved, and how schools make sports work with the money they have.

WHAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE? I have as much passion about my education as I do about my sport. I will always go the extra mile for perfection whether it is on the field or in the classroom.

WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? The greatest inspiration in my life has been my parents. They have been so inspirational for me because they have backed me at every turn and supported me no matter what I decide to do. They give me advice, wisdom, and valuable information whenever I need it. Most importantly, they have taught me to work hard for what you want, don't make excuses, and to not give up.

THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN... The greatest principle I have learned is to never fall victim to the moment. Whether it is a major high or a major low, always stay even keeled and consistent. Consistency is reliable, dependable, and valuable.

AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE... As a Linfield athlete, my individual goal is to do whatever I can to help the baseball team succeed. It doesn't matter what my role may be, I want to fulfill that role to the best of my ability and contribute to success. My collective team goals are to win a conference and national championship.

WHAT IS NEXT AFTER LINFIELD? My career focus is to become a paramedic. Linfield is helping me achieve that by teaching me how to relate to everyone I meet.
