Linfield baseball's Colton Ouellette tossed seven innings of one-hit ball in a 6-0 win over the Whitman Blues last weekend, earning the Northwest Conference's Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors. 
 
It's the first NWC weekly honor of the sophomore's career, competing in his first season as a Wildcat. Ouellette boasts a 4.14 earned run average in 11 appearances, making three starts to a 2-3 record with a save. Against Whitman, his seven shutout innings helped the team shutout the Blues, winning 6-0 and claiming their fifth NWC series of the season.
 
Baseball hosts George Fox in a single-game non-conference matchup this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. before heading to Tacoma, Washington, to face Puget Sound in a three-game series.
