Sophia Hamilton and
Addison Nations carded top-15 finishes for Linfield women's golf at the GFU Invite at Arrowhead Golf Club. The Wildcats placed fifth as a team with rounds of 369 and 358.Â

Freshman
Sophia Hamilton led the way in round one, firing an 85 highlighted by a birdie on the par three seventh hole. Hamilton shot 40 on the front nine each day, including finishing the tournament with three consecutive pars to shoot 87 in the final round, finishing in eighth individually.

Addison Nations started her tournament off with a 92 but rebounded with the team's best final round score, and 86 (42/44) to move up two spots to 14
th.
Breleigh Garcia also improved upon her 96 in the opening round, shooting 88 on Tuesday with a birdie three on hole six. Garcia was one of three Wildcats to shoot in the 80's in the final round and the lone to card a birdie; finishing in 19
th for the tournament.

Ainsley Kelley was one of two to record a birdie in the opening round on her way to a 96, falling back one stroke and two places between the two rounds to finish with a 97 on Tuesday. Sophomore
Sara Pate improved three strokes, shooting rounds of 105 and 102. Kelley took 23
rd place and Pate finished 26
th to round out the Wildcat's lineup.

Lewis & Clark captured the team and individual titles in the tournament. Ahika Jani finished six-shots clear with a 153 total, leading the River Otters to a comfortable 28-shot win as a team.Â

Women's golf competes once again this weekend up in Tacoma, Washington, in the annual Northwest Conference Spring Classic hosted by Puget Sound at Oakbrook Golf Club. The second of three NWC tournaments counting towards the season's final points standings.
