SAINT CHARLES, Mo. --- Linfield women's wrestling sent five Wildcats, three freshman and two seniors, to the NCAA Division III Women's Wrestling Regional in Missouri, earning three match wins.

At 103-pounds, freshman
Jessica Cottings was one of three to earn a regional bid in their first collegiate season. Cottings fell in a 10-0 technical fall to begin the morning, but bounced back with a quick 10-0 technical fall of her own. Her tournament was cut short, falling in a technical fall to end the meet with a 1-2 record.

Freshman
Cadence Fineran scored one point in her first match, dropping two for the tournament to finish her run at 131-pounds.
Cassidy Jones-Mowen was the last of the freshman class to compete in the regional, bouncing back from a pin in the opening match to take a gritty 4-2 decision to keep her placement hopes alive. Jones-Mowen's season came to a close, falling 11-0 in her third and final bout of the tournament.

Seniors
Klaira Flatt and
Ayana Medina competed in their final meet of their collegiate careers on Saturday. Flatt earned one win, in her second match of the day, pinning her opponent in the second bout while up 12-5. Medina also won her consolation bout at 160-pounds, a domiant 11-1 technical fall victory. Both senior 'Cats finished the regional with a 1-2 record.

The 'Cats 2025-26 season came to a close on Saturday, while the future remains bright for the young squad whose first year class earned valuable experience competing against the best competition in the country.
