OLYMPIA, Wash. --- Linfield men's wrestling continued their run of road duals on Thursday evening, taking on the Evergreen State College Geoducks, falling 33-24.Â

To open the match, Linfield earned three match wins via forfeits by Evergreen State, which the Wildcats had one forfeit of their own. The 141-pound match began the evening dual, where
Max Vander Meide was pinned near the end of the first period, helping the Geoducks make up for the forfeits.
Fermin Carrillo and
Damon Gasilos were also pinned in the following two matches.

Lucien Lefebvre had the closest defeat of the night, battling hard in the 165-pound matchup, coming up just short in a 9-7 decision.
Trey Dieringer competed for the 'Cats at 184-pounds, lasting into the third period before he was pinned, sealing the dual for Evergreen State.

In the 285-pound matchup to close the night,
Camden Roofener gave Linfield their only win in a head-to-head bout, pinning his opponent with 55-seconds left in the first period. Overcoming three forfeits, Evergreen State won the dual, 33-24.
