On Monday afternoon, the Northwest Conference announced their weekly Athlete of the Week honors, with Linfield women's basketball's Amelia Solt earning the team's first honor of the season. 
 
Solt, a senior from Loveland, Colorado, had an impressive week. Helping the 'Cats go 2-0 with a win over No. 22 (NAIA) Corban on the road, where she dropped 20 points on 10-10 from the free throw line. Solt averaged 14 points over the two games, totaling six steals, five rebounds, and an overall perfect 12-12 from the stripe. 
 
Her third year as a Wildcat, Solt has played in 25+ games in each of her first two seasons, aiming to lead the team back to the Northwest Conference tournament for a second-consecutive season. A journalism and media studies major, Solt has scored over 500 points in her career, and shoots an impressive 89% from the free throw line in 2025. 
 
Linfield women's basketball finishes non-conference play in Hawaii, taking on McMurry and Knox in Honolulu next Sunday and Monday at 3:30 p.m. HST.
