COOS BAY, Ore. --- Linfield women's wrestling closed out the weekend slate of dual meets, with four Wildcats competing against the Southwestern Oregon Community College Lakers. The 'Cats fell 25-14 to the Lakers.

The Lakers began the match with an advantage due to four forfeits by the Wildcats and one for the hosts at 103-pounds.
Cadence Fineran competed first for Linfield at 131-pounds, earning a dominant 14-4 victory via technical fall.
Cassidy Jones-Mowen followed the win with a quick pin in the 138-pound match, ending the bout in the first period.

Klaira Flatt was unable to keep the Wildcats hopes for a comeback alive although a tough battle. Flatt's match ended via technical fall, giving the Lakers five team points. In the final match of the day for Linfield,
Karina Yoder was pinned in the 160-pound match, ended the dual meet, 25-14, in favor of Southwestern Oregon.Â

The Wildcats head to Spokane, Washington, next weekend for the Spokane Open Tournament, starting Saturday at 9 a.m.
