NORTH PLAINS, Ore.. --- Linfield women's golf spent the weekend honing in their skills ahead of the lone NWC meet on the Fall in a couple of weeks. Freshman
Kariss Whitford led the way once again, placing 37
th in the Pacific Invitational.

Kariss Whitford continued in her role as the 'Cats No.1 this weekend, carding rounds of 93 and 90 to take 37
th. Whitford sank a pair of birdies on holes three and 16 in the first round, helping her remain as the top Wildcat.
Addison Nations found herself close to Whitford after the opening 18-holes, also starting the tournament off with a 93. She dropped just a couple spots on Sunday, firing a 92 to take 38
th-place.
Sophia Hamilton also saw improvement, following up her opening-round 95 with a 92 on Sunday, finishing 40
th on the weekend.
Ainsley Kelley notched the 'Cats final team scores for both rounds, firing a 98 and 99, on her way to 45
th.
Breleigh Garcia rounded out the Wildcat lineup, and also saw the most improvement between rounds, shooting 107 in round one and 100 in round two, Garcia closed out her final tournament before NWC play in 49
th-place.
The WIldcats finished eighth as a team, while George Fox claimed the team title at +54. Lewis & Clark's Ahika Jani captured medalist honors after rounds of 70 and 79.
Women's golf now begins their prep for the Northwest Conference Fall Classic in two weeks at Oswego Lake CC in Lake Oswego, Oregon, to close out the Fall season.
