Conner Jensen has joined the Linfield University Athletics staff as assistant sports information director.
Â
"I'm honored to be joining the Linfield Athletics communications team," said Jensen. "I understand the expectations Linfield sports programs have and I look forward to doing my part in contributing to the historic success of this university. I hope to leave my mark here by delivering fast and efficient support to our coaches, student-athletes and fans by taking an innovative approach to our day-to-day responsibilities."
Â
Jensen joins a three-person sports communications team that includes broadcast coordinator and play-by-play announcer Joe Stuart, and sports communications and marketing director Kelly Bird. He'll manage the communications and game operations needs for men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball and women's lacrosse. In addition, he'll create and manage content to supply Linfield Athletics' multiple social media team accounts.
Â
"Conner is energetic, loves sports and brings an excellent skillset that is going to really benefit Linfield Athletics," said Bird. "We're excited to see him reach his full potential."

A 2024 Brigham Young University graduate, Jensen spent four years working as a student video manager with the BYU football program, recording, editing and distributing practice and game film.
Â
In addition, he served as a media production specialist for BYU Broadcasting, a student-run outlet. As part of the eight-member crew, he created daily video highlight reels that were then featured on BYUtv's daily talk show "Sports Nation."
Â
At BYU, he completed a bachelor's degree in communications with a focus on journalism.
Â
Originally from Nampa, Idaho, and a graduate of Vallivue High School, he is married to Abbey, a fellow 2024 BYU graduate.
