Having put together an impressive performance in a 3-1 victory over Lewis & Clark, Linfield (6-15, 3-11 NWC) finds itself in eighth place in the NWC and has its eyes set on building more momentum to end the season on a positive note through the final two matches of the season against George Fox (12-11, 8-6 NWC) and Willamette (7-15, 6-8 NWC). The Bruins sit at fourth place in the Northwest Conference standings after back-to-back losses to Pacific Lutheran and Puget Sound. The Bearcats remain in fifth place after splitting last week's matches with a victory over Whitman and a loss to conference leader, Whitworth.

The Bruins rely heavily on Gracie Bearden and Addison Robertson for their offense, recording 231 and 205 kills respectively. Kennedy Kibby has been instrumental in setting up her teammates with 482 assists, good for fifth in the NWC, while Addison Coulter adds 389. Defensively, George Fox is supported by Piper Hilgaertner with a staggering 448 digs, topping the NWC leaderboards, and Bearden, who adds 222. Allaire stands tall at the net, tallying 43 blocks while Lexi Baer and Jordan Hahn have contributed 42 and 40 respectively.

The Bearcats have a plethora of threats on offense with Olivia Cadien leading the way with 220 kills, Katey Cramer with 188 kills, and Caroline Jameson who comes in with 110 kills. Leina Chu ranks second in the conference with 596 assists, setting up her teammates time and again. Dream Takemoto captains the defense with 332 digs for the Bearcats while Kaitlyn Westby proves to be a problem at the net with 57 total blocks in 2024. Willamette aims to make a late season push with a chance to pass George Fox for fourth place in the conference.
