Linfield (5-13, 2-9 NWC) comes off a promising week where the Wildcats went 1-2.. The 'Cats showed real promise throughout the week as they reached 20 points in three of the six sets that they lost.
Lacey Bell motivated her squad to come out firing on all cylinders against her former team, Pacific, and secured a 3-0 sweep at home, limiting the Boxers to a .030 hitting percentage. Linfield hits the road this weekend with a Friday night rematch against Whitman (4-13, 3-7 NWC) at 7 p.m. before facing conference leading Whitworth (18-2, 10-0 NWC) on Saturday at 6 p.m. In matchups earlier this season, Linfield fell to the Blues and Pirates 2-3 and 0-3 respectively.

WHITMAN AT A GLANCE
The Blues rank second in the Northwest Conference in lowest opponent hitting percentage at .188 showing their ability to play elite defense. Courtney Cline has played a large role in Whitman's defensive efforts with 1.06 blocks per set, good for second in the conference. Arina Gushchina captains the offense with 140 kills and Haylee Pruse has been the lead distributor logging an impressive 246 assists.
WHITWORTH AT A GLANCE
The Pirates find themselves on top of the NWC standings having yet to lose a conference match in 2024. They hold a marginal lead in the NWC in hitting percentage at .229. Whitworth also leads the conference in kills, blocks, assists and kills allowed. Ella Jimenez has been instrumental in this lethal attack with an eye-popping 259 kills. Taylor Miche sustains the defense with 313 digs and Cassidy Franklin has been a force to be reckoned with at the net, tallying 71 blocks on the season.

Linfield holds a lead over Whitman in the all-time series 36-23. The Wildcats are in a two-match skid against the Blues but look to get back on track on the road where they trail Whitman 12-16.
