Linfield steps onto the links for the first time this fall season at the Pacific Fall Invitational at Quail Valley Golf Course. The tournament begins on Saturday and goes through Sunday.

The Wildcats finished third in the Northwest Conference Championships and fourth in total team points last season. Mitch Wilson returns for his sixth season at the helm.

Linfield returns some top-end talent, with returning seniors Chris Cayford, Bryce Hatcher, Riley Lynch, Jacob Smissen and Trevor Price leading the way.

Smissen and Price were named second-team All-NWC following the conclusion of the conference championship.

Zack LaPlaca and Alex Salinas were bright spots a season ago and look to provide depth for a team that lost only one senior.

After the Pacific Fall Invitational, the 'Cats travel to Circling Raven GC in Worley, Idaho, on Oct. 7-9. The Wildcats then host the NWC Fall Classic at Michelbook CC on Oct. 13-15 before finishing out the fall season at the Confluence Classic in Walla Walla, Wash.
