Thomas Tabor played a big role in Linfield's 28-14 win at Denison on Sept. 9.
The senior Seattle, Wash., native recently claimed Northwest Conference football Special Teams Student-Athlete of the Week.
Tabor booted 331 yards on eight punts, including a long of 57 and an average of 41.38. Tabor helped out his defense mightily, pinning the Big Red offense inside its own 20-yard line on two occasions.
Last season, Tabor established a new school record for the highest single-season punting average of 46.3.
Linfield is ranked No. 8 in the most recent D3football.com poll and returns to the field Saturday at Redlands with kickoff slated for 7 p.m.
