The start of the Linfield men's and women's spring golf seasons will have to wait at least another week, allowing time for a recent snowfall to melt off.

Both Linfield men's and women's golf teams were to have taken on Pacific in a pair of home-and-home match play competitions Feb. 26 and 27. But with both teams' courses under a blanket of snow, practices and competitions have been ruled out for this weekend. The teams hope to reschedule the matches, most likely in April.

The next scheduled competition for the Linfield men is March 13-14 when the Wildcats travel to Moorpark, California, to participate in the CLU Kingsmen Invitational. The women's squad is scheduled to compete at the same site as part of the CLU Regals Invitational, also March 13-14.
