Linfield men's swimmer Edan Donaldson was named Northwest Conference Men's Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week after his efforts at the NWC Sprint Meet this past weekend.
 
The senior from Colton, Ore., posted the lowest combined time across five events. Donaldson's total time of 2:33.39 was more than three seconds faster than the next closest competitor.
 
Donaldson's time was the combined five times of the 100-yard individual medley, 50 butterfly, 50 backstroke, 50 breaststroke and 50 freestyle.
 
Donaldson was the top finisher in the butterfly, IM and backstroke.
 
The Wildcats return to the pool this weekend when they travel to face Puget Sound for a dual meet at 1:00 p.m.
