REDMOND, Ore. – Linfield freshman Kami Hart entered Saturday's Oregon Classic College Women's Open with a 2-8 record, but won four of six matches on the day to bring home a third-place finish. She was one of three third-place finishers on the day for the Wildcats, and one of four place-winners. 
 
At 136 pounds, fellow frosh Brielle Brick lost her opening match to eventual champion Kaidance Gerg, but recovered to win the next three in a row to top the consolation side of the bracket. And at 155, Elena Kroll won four of her five matches to also top the consolation bracket. 
 
Linfield's other medalist in Redmond was Klaira Flatt at 143. Flatt went 3-2 on the day, punctuated by a pin over Pacific's Analeese Mcallister in the fifth-place match.

The Linfield women return to action Thursday in a tri-dual at home against Umpqua Community College and Grays Harbor College. Umpqua is ranked No. 2 in the national NJCAA women's rankings.
