On October 1, Linfield Athletics will recognize and celebrate all its former and current female athletes through multiple events. We invite all those who participated in or were connected to Linfield women's athletics to return to campus for any or all these celebratory events. 

At 11 a.m., we will unveil a plaque honoring the legacy of Dr. Jane McIlroy, who directed women's athletics at Linfield for 32 years. Following that ceremony, all alumnae who played sports at Linfield are invited to be our guests at the VIP area of the stadium for refreshments. Finally, during halftime of the football game, alumnae athletes will be invited to walk onto the field to be publicly recognized for their role in Linfield athletics. While they are on the field, there will be a short video shown on the video board recognizing that the opportunities Linfield's female athletes enjoy today would not have been possible without the female athletes who came before them.
