NORTH PLAINS, Ore. – Linfield men's golf improved by 11 strokes in the second round to finish in 11
th place at the Pacific Invitational Tuesday at the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club.

The Wildcats posted a final team score of 661, two strokes behind 10
th-place Grays Harbor Community College.
Alexandre Collard was the top Linfield performer, finishing in a six-way tie for 26
th place as an individual. He carded 82 on Monday and 79 on Tuesday for a final score of 18-over-par 161.

Chris Cayford was the top scoring player for Linfield. He ended the tournament in a five-way tie for 32
nd place at 162.
Riley Lynch tied for 37
th place at 163 while
Bryce Hatcher turned in a 166 to finish in 45
th place.
Grant Moen rounded out the Linfield scorers in 50
th place at 170.

Pacific Lutheran claimed the team title by six strokes with a two-round score of 598. The Lutes posted a 293 in the second round. Joshua Clogston earned medalist honors to lead PLU at 3-over-par 146, edging out runners-up Tyler Vassar of North Idaho College and teammate Ryan Pearson by one stroke.

The Wildcats are back on the links this weekend, competing at the Northwest Conference Spring Classic on Saturday and Sunday at the Oakbrook Golf Club in Lakewood, Washington. The NWC Championship is set for April 23-24 at the Creekside Golf Club in Salem, Oregon.
