HILLSBORO, Ore. – Linfield men's tennis had no upperclassmen on the team in 2021-22. With four sophomores and four freshmen trying to build a culture, a likely leader emerged in freshman Rogue Stone.

The Clackamas, Oregon, native earned Second Team All-NWC honors as Linfield's representative on the 2022 Men's Tennis All-Conference Team, released by the conference office on Saturday.

Stone earned four singles wins, three in the No. 1 position, to lead the Wildcats (3-12, 1-7 NWC). He also picked up four doubles wins over the course of the season, all of them coming in the No. 1 spot with partner, sophomore Nick Gabelman.

George Fox, the NWC regular season and tournament champion, and Pacific each had five All-NWC selections, including three first-team selections apiece. The Bruins' Will Leach was named the Player of the Year while head coach Jeff Cero earned Coach of the Year honors. Pacific's Mason Tran was selected as the Freshman of the Year.
