The Linfield baseball team heads to George Fox for its final road trip of the 2021 season. The Wildcats and the Bruins are scheduled to play doubleheaders on Friday and Monday, both at 12 p.m.

The Wildcats have won two in a row, sweeping last Saturday's doubleheader over the Willamette Bearcats by scores of 5-4 and 4-2.
Daniel Kahn drove in five runs, including a three-run home run. Linfield is scoring 4.1 runs per game on a team batting average of .242.
Levi Horner-Villa is batting .337 on the season with four home runs and 17 RBIs.
Jackson Horner is hitting .308 and
Mike LaVigne is averaging .300.
Tanner Earhart has 15 RBIs, LaVigne has 13, while Horner and
Reid Sturn have 10 each.
On Saturday,
Grant Knox picked up his first career win by allowing just two runs over six innings. He is one of three starters anticipated to see the mound this weekend.

Skyler Manelski, who collected his first career save this past weekend.
The Wildcats and the Bruins are the only two baseball programs in the Northwest Conference to win NCAA Division III national championships. The two are neck-and-neck in the all-time series with George Fox holding a slight 53-52 edge.

The Bruins are 11-12 in conference games and currently sit fifth in the standings. They are scoring 6.3 runs per game on a team batting average of .292. The pitching staff is allowing 6.5 runs per game.
Marc Audet leads the team with 26 RBIs and seven home runs. Chase Fetzer has five home runs, 23 RBIs and a .312 batting average. Emery Miller has a batting average of .378, which leads the team. Jeremy Sangalang has produced 17 RBIs.
For the Bruins, Sean Wiese, Ben Wills and Christopher Stone have made eight starts each. Wiese has 57 strikeouts, Wills has 28 and Stone has 38. Fetzer has made six appearances, including four starts and owns an ERA of 1.88.
