MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – Regan Dean had 11 digs in the Linfield Wildcats 3-0 loss to the George Fox Bruins on Friday night at Ted Wilson Gym.

The match was tied at nine in the first set, but the Bruins won the set, 25-13. They won the second set, 25-11. Linfield got to within 10-8 on two errors by George Fox.

Linfield led 7-6 on a kill by
Raelynn Hammock in the third and tied it at nine all on a kill by Dean. George Fox won the third set, 25-13.

Dean had 11 digs for the Wildcats, Hammock had eight and
Tessa Doerfler had seven. Hammock led the team with eight kills.
Ellie Mead, Dean and
Seraiah Ochse had three each.
Aylea Dixon had 19 assists, she also had four digs.

Ochse had two assisted blocks, Dixon and
Megan Stanek had one each.

Paige O'Rear and Bailey LeBreton led the Bruins with nine kills each. Laney Search had 15 digs and 26 assists. LeBreton had six solo blocks and two assists. Ashtyn Butler had three solo.

The Bruins are 3-2 in Northwest Conference and 3-3 overall, Linfield falls to 0-6 in the conference only schedule.

Linfield concludes the season against Willamette next week. Wildcats host Senior Day, honoring Dean and Doerfler on Thursday at 7 p.m. and close out the season in Salem, Oregon on Friday, April 2 at 7 p.m.
