BANKS, Ore. – The fall golf season came to an end on Sunday as the Linfield men's golf team finished in sixth place out of nine teams at the Northwest Conference Fall Classic, hosted by Pacific at the Quail Valley Golf Course.

Sophomore
Trevor Price paced the Wildcats, finishing in the top 10 for the first time this fall. He finished in a three-way tie for sixth place with a two-round score of 3-under-par 141. Price carded even-par 72 in the opening round and 3-under-par 69 in the second round.

Chris Cayford placed in the top 15, tying for 12
th place at 1-under-par 143. He shot 1-under-par 71 on Saturday and even-par 72 on Sunday. Fellow sophomore
Riley Lynch finished in 31
st place at 8-over-par 152 while junior
Ahron Abraham and freshman
Grant Moen tied for 39
th place at 161.

Willamette claimed the team title with a final score of 558, nine strokes ahead of second-place Whitworth. The Bearcats placed three players in the top 10, including Austin Davis and Andrew Kibbee, who tied for first place with scores of 7-under-par 137.
