FOREST GROVE, ORE. – After digging themselves into a five-run hole after two innings, the Linfield Wildcats lost to the Pacific Boxers 7-1 at Chuck Bafaro Stadium in Forest Grove. Linfield declines to 3-9 (1-5 NWC), Pacific climbs to 12-3 (6-0 NWC).

- Linfield starter David Brosius struggled on the mound where he threw 1.2 innings and allowed four runs on three hits.
- The 'Cats trailed 5-0 after the second inning. Ryan Krout's two-run homerun highlighted the inning for Pacific.
- Other pitchers included Kameron Walker, Austin Thomas, Matt McDonald and Liam Herlihy. Herlihy made his first appearance of the season after missing time due to injury.
- Linfield's lone run came in the fourth off the bat of Zach Cokos who doubled to right and scored Brian Cromwell.
- Pacific would add to its lead in the fifth and later in the eighth with a homer from Dustin Meyer.
- Tanner Earhart was the only Wildcat with multiple hits, he went 2-4. Wyatt Smith and Cromwell both doubled in the loss.
- Pacific starter Sam Lawrence threw his first complete game of 2019. He allowed one run on five hits and struck out two. He walked one and forced 16 Linfield hitters into fly-ball outs.
