TACOMA, WASH. – Non-conference is over and the Wildcats are in the heart of the season as they started Northwest Conference play on the road at Puget Sound on Friday, September 14
th. Linfield dropped the first to sets to Puget Sound but was able to bounce back and take game three, but that would not be enough as the Loggers won the fourth set beating the 'Cats 3-1.
Audrey Hyem continues to be a bright spot or the Wildcats as she led the team in kills with eight.
Regan Deana and
Brianna Sanford also contributed adding seven kills each to the stat line.
Seven different Wildcats recorded at least one block in the match.
Taylor Petersen had a high of two for Linfield.
Mattie Kelly continues to set up her teammates as she recorded 28 assists in the match as well as nine digs and two service aces.
On the backline
Taylor Souza continues to lead the way as she managed to snag 19 digs and two assists in the match.
Leisa Eto also was a large contributor for the Wildcats as she added 15 digs.
