SALEM, ORE. – Coming into the match with just one win the Northwest Conference the Wildcats were hoping to turn their luck around. Willamette was 8-11, 5-5 in NWC play heading into tonight's match. The Bearcats looked to setter Jaiden Mason to lead the way for them as she is third n the conference in assists per set with 7.61 and has 548 assists on the season before tonight.
The Wildcats continue to rely on
Regan Dean as she has a team high of 136 kills and is averaging 2.21 per set. Tonight, she led the way with nine kills for Linfield and also contributed eight digs.
Audrey Hyem was second in kills against the Bearcats with five.
Leisa Eto took to her new roll nicely as she has stepped up as the Wildcats' setter collecting 16 assists and eight digs for Linfield.
The back-line is continued to be held down by
Taylor Souza. Souza dug up 20 balls for the Wildcats in tonight match. However, she ranks third in the conference with 4.82 digs per set and fifth in total digs with 294 before tonight's match-up.
