Aquatic Center

When Linfield's aquatics center opened in 1989, the fortunes of the swimming team rose dramatically. Participation in the sport mushroomed and the result was a bounty of success at the conference and national levels.

In the last 15 seasons, the Linfield men are 114-31 in dual meets and have won six of the last 12 Northwest Conference team championships, including back-to-back crowns in 1998 and 1999. The Linfield women captured the conference title in 1993 and are 86-58-1 in dual meets since 1989. Prior to the 1989-90 season, the Wildcats practiced and competed at the McMinnville Community Pool.

The natatorium's post-modernstyling incorportates a large arched glass atrium window which allows natural sunlight to filter inside. Indoor and outdoor walkways connect the aquatics center to the main athletics building and the field house.

The eight-lane, 25-yard pool is considered among the nicest collegiate aquatic facilities in the Northwest. It is spectator-friendly, with an elevated 250-seat gallery.

The aquatics center has served as the site for the Northwest Conference swimming championships in 1991, 1997, 2000, 2003 and 2006.
